Resilience, Growth, and the Power of Next Steps: My Journey as a Woman in Tech

International Women’s Day has always been a powerful reminder of the social, economic, and cultural achievements of women around the world. It’s a day that encourages our continued progress toward gender equality. But for me, as the founder of Vericence, the spirit of March 8 is ultimately about one thing: resilience.

When I look at my entrepreneurial path, I feel it is a journey defined not just by success, but by the challenges it took to get here.

Finding Perspective in Failure

My journey began years ago with the launch of my first venture. Like many founders, that experience brought both soaring excitement and incredibly hard lessons. Ultimately, that first company did not succeed. But what it gave me was something far more valuable than a quick win: perspective.

I learned early on that failure is not the end. It’s simply part of the process of learning how to build something meaningful. That singular perspective has shaped every step of my career since.

Building From the Ground Up

When I launched my second venture, I brought a new level of experience and determination. This time, the outcome was different. We successfully completed our acquisition cycle, marking a major milestone in my career. It was the ultimate proof that persistence and adaptability can transform setbacks into stepping stones.

Following that chapter, I joined IT services industry as a client partner. Over the next several years, I had the privilege of helping lead a remarkable transformation within the organization. We expanded dramatically—growing not only our revenue by over 500 percent, but also the capabilities and long-term value we delivered to our clients.

Of course, the journey wasn’t without its challenges. There were plenty of ups and downs, as growth always comes with uncertainty. But I learned that what truly matters is believing in your vision and moving forward, even when the path isn’t obvious.

Returning to Entrepreneurship

After more than a decade since my previous venture, I felt the familiar pull of entrepreneurship. I returned with a renewed vision, and the result was Vericence.

Drawing from years of industry experience, my team and I set out to address one of the most important challenges facing modern enterprises: ensuring new technologies, especially AI systems, operate reliably and deliver real value. We are intensely focused on helping organizations validate complex technology systems so they perform consistently within real business environments.

For me, Vericence is more than just another startup. It represents the culmination of lessons learned over decades of leadership, experimentation, and growth.

The Pillars of Support

Behind every entrepreneurial story is a deeply rooted network of support. For me, my family has been my most important pillar.

Balancing family life with the demands of building a business is never easy, but my loved ones have consistently helped me maintain balance and perspective. It has given me an even stronger sense of purpose. I often say my two children are my greatest achievements. They are my trophies, and they remind me every single day why perseverance matters.

My Message to Women in Technology

As we highlight the global achievements of women today, my deepest hope is that more women feel empowered to pursue leadership roles in technology and entrepreneurship.

If I could share one piece of advice with the next generation of women leaders, it would be this: Embrace failure not as an ending, but as the most critical learning experience that informs your next step.

Every career has hurdles. The key is staying consistent and believing that your ideas matter. At Vericence, that philosophy continues to shape our culture and our mission.

To me, success isn’t only about building companies or scaling technologies. It’s about helping create opportunities for the next generation of leaders.

At Vericence, our philosophy is shaped by these decades of experience: persistence, adaptability, and an intense focus on validating what matters. We believe that truly successful technology, like successful leadership, is built on a foundation of resilience. If your organization is ready to ensure your next complex technology initiative delivers consistent, reliable value, we invite you to reach out to the Vericence team today to discuss how we can partner in securing your future success.
