SDET – Python
India (Offshore) | Full-Time / Contract | 6–10 Years Experience
Build robust automation frameworks for web and APIs using Python and modern testing tools.
We are looking for a Python-based SDET with strong automation experience to develop and maintain automated test solutions for web and API testing. The role emphasizes scripting, framework development, and integration of automation into CI/CD pipelines within Agile teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Selenium WebDriver
• Build automation frameworks using PyTest / Unittest
• Automate UI, API, and regression test suites
• Perform API automation using Python Requests / Postman
• Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Analyze test failures and perform root cause analysis
• Collaborate with developers and product teams on quality improvements
• Maintain automation documentation and test reports
• Support release validation and production testing
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 6–10 years of experience as an SDET / Automation Engineer• Strong programming experience in Python
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver (Python bindings)
• Experience with PyTest / Unittest frameworks
• API automation experience using Python Requests
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams
• Basic database and SQL knowledge
Good to Have
• BDD experience (Behave)• Exposure to Docker / containerized testing
• Cloud testing experience (AWS / Azure)
• Performance testing exposure (Locust, JMeter)
