Cloud DevOps Engineer

India (Offshore) | Full-Time / Contract

Design, automate, and scale cloud infrastructure for enterprise platforms.

We are seeking an experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer to support cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Terraform, cloud platforms, Python scripting, and CI/CD practices, and will work closely with global engineering teams to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), primarily Terraform
• Provision, configure, and maintain cloud environments aligned with security and performance best practices
• Develop and maintain Python scripts for automation, monitoring, and operational tasks
• Implement and support CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment workflows
• Collaborate with DevOps, application, and platform teams to support cloud-native solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure, deployment, and performance issues
• Support environment provisioning across development, testing, and production
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of cloud platforms
• Document infrastructure designs, automation workflows, and operational runbooks

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer / DevOps Engineer
• Strong hands-on expertise with Terraform
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Strong Python scripting skills
• Solid understanding of DevOps practices and tools
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
• Proficiency with version control systems (Git)
• Good understanding of cloud networking, security, IAM, and monitoring concepts
• Experience working in an offshore / global delivery model
• Ability to work independently and deliver under tight timelines

Good to Have

• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Exposure to cloud cost optimization and monitoring
• Experience with observability tools and logging platforms
• Scripting or automation beyond Python
• Experience supporting production environments
