Salesforce DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a hands-on Salesforce DevOps Engineer who can independently manage Salesforce deployments, CI/CD pipelines and environment troubleshooting. This is not a purely support role: the ideal candidate must be technically strong enough to log into Salesforce, investigate issues, fix configuration and code-related problems, and work closely with developers without heavy dependency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Salesforce deployments across environments (Dev, QA, UAT, Prod)
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines and Azure DevOps Pipelines
  • Implement version control best practices using Git
  • Troubleshoot deployment failures and environment issues
  • Log into Salesforce orgs and independently identify and resolve issues
  • Work closely with Salesforce developers to fix build and release blockers
  • Handle metadata deployments using SFDX, Change Sets and CLI tools
  • Ensure release governance, rollback strategies and environment stability

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of Salesforce ecosystem experience
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce development (Apex, LWC, Triggers, Flows; understanding level required)
  • Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline setup and troubleshooting
  • Experience with Git (branching strategy, merge conflict resolution)
  • Salesforce DX (SFDX) experience preferred
  • Experience managing multiple Salesforce orgs
  • Ability to debug and resolve deployment errors independently

Good to Have

  • Experience in enterprise Salesforce implementations
  • Knowledge of DevOps best practices in regulated environments
  • Exposure to Jira and Agile release processes
  • Salesforce certifications (DevOps or Platform Developer preferred but not mandatory)

What We’re Looking For

  • Self-driven, independent problem solver
  • Strong troubleshooting mindset
  • Not dependent on developers for every fix
  • Able to take ownership of Salesforce environment health
