What’s changing across the industry

The pressures on retailers and consumer brands

Every organization we work with is balancing the same pressures.

  1. Peak trading with no margin for failure

Holiday, promotion and launch traffic has to be handled across web, app, store and fulfillment without slowdowns or outages.

  2. Payments security under PCI DSS v4.0.1

The future-dated PCI DSS v4.0.1 requirements, including controls on payment page scripts, have been mandatory since March 31, 2025.

  3. Accessibility as a legal requirement

The European Accessibility Act has applied to ecommerce since June 28, 2025, and ADA claims against US retail websites continue.

  4. AI that shoppers and margins can trust

Personalization, search, pricing and service agents have to be accurate, fair and controlled before they reach customers.

How we help

Serving the full retail and consumer goods value chain

We understand the challenges in each part of retail and consumer goods and help through retail-specific offerings, in addition to the domain-agnostic services we deliver across the lifecycle.

Delivery principles

How we engineer for retail and consumer goods

PCI DSS controls checked on every build

Card data stays masked in test, and payment controls are verified before anything ships.

Journeys tested from search to returns

Regression follows how shoppers actually buy, across web, app, store and contact center.

Peak readiness proven before the season

Load tests and freeze plans are agreed months before peak, not weeks.

Accessible to every shopper

WCAG-based accessibility checks are part of every release, not a yearly audit.

Pricing and personalization AI kept honest

Models are monitored for drift and unfair outcomes once they meet real customers.

Rollouts piloted in a few stores first

New store and channel systems prove themselves in pilot locations before going wide.

Quality & DevOps Advisory | Global retailer

AI-led QE and PMO strategy

12 wksto a QE blueprint and ROI case
50%faster test cycles
3.4x12-month ROI
Challenge

The business had just gone live on SAP and Monday.com, alongside ServiceNow, web and mobile. Testing happened in production and QA was manual and reactive. There was no PMO, so initiatives were funded without a shared view of ROI.

What we did

We ran a 12-week, AI-led QE assessment covering test coverage, risk and automation, maturity benchmarking and tool selection, which led to a target-state QE blueprint, rollout roadmap and ROI case. Alongside it, we set up a PMO with a weighted value-scoring model, prioritization matrix and portfolio value dashboard that charts every initiative against customer outcomes.

getting started

Start small, prove value, then scale

We recommend starting with an understanding of the current state and then expanding across the lifecycle.
